First Bible – Family Time Together
When a child receives his or her first Bible, it’s a life-changing event. Perhaps in our culture with so many Bibles available everywhere, we don’t always see the significance of a child owning his or her very own copy of God’s Word. But think about it. What could be more important than a child having God’s Word to point them to Jesus and guide them in their relationship with God and this world? Grandview is hosting a “First Bible – Family Time Together” to help families understand the importance of the Word of God for their child as they prepare to celebrate their child’s First Bible.
Target Age: First Grade (or as soon as a child is able to read)*
When: Date TBD from 6:30-8:00 PM
Where: Grandview Church in room A-10
*At least one parent (grandparent or mentor) must be present with the child at the Family Time Together, in order to participate in the All-Church Celebration.
