Join us each Wednesday from late August through early April for an exciting AWANA Clubs program for all kids ages 3 yrs old thru 5th grade.
Each week from 6:30-8:00pm kids will engage in high energy worship songs, Bible memorization, age appropriate Bible lessons, and games. AWANA is a acronym from 2 Timothy 2:15, and it stands for: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.
You are encouraged to work with your child(ren) throughout the week to help them memorize Bible verses from their handbook. Then when they come to AWANA on Wednesdays they will have the opportunity to share with their leader the verses they have memorized. Children will receive various prizes and awards as they work through their AWANA hand book each year.
Awana consists of the following clubs:
3 – 5 year-olds
Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (for ages two years prior to Kindergarten) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the exciting non-competitive games, or story time where they learn about God’s great love for them, or all their “Cubbies friends,” they simply love it.
K – 2nd grade
Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible and building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. For many children in Kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of their week! They love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends.
3 – 5 Grades
T&T engages third through fifth graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible and guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace. Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.
